Chaka Khan negotiates a record deal

Who knew a post about Kharkov would lead to not one, but two references to the Civilization series?  Well, me.  It's well known that one of the reasons I decided to go to Europe in the first place was to rack up as many Civ II cities as I could, and Kharkov was #15.  This, of course, is a familiar snapshot of conducting diplomatic relations with the Mongols from the original Civilization, and the ever-present threat of Chaka Khan on her relentless and bloodthirsty quest to learn the secret of the wheel—at any cost.
